From Safer Arizona – PTSD is ravaging our veterans and the pills they give them are always dangerous, largely ineffective, and often make things worse. Veteran after veteran will tell you that medical marijuana helps with PTSD and PTSD is a qualifying condition to get a medical marijuana card in Arizona.

The Senate Appropriations Committee passed a bipartisan amendment recently, 18 votes to 12, allowing Veterans Administration doctors to recommend medical marijuana to their patients in states where medical marijuana is legal. The vote is the first time the U.S. Senate has ever moved marijuana law reform legislation forward.
